SELL HIGH-VALUE DATA & ANALYTICS SOLUTIONS, GROW INTO SALES LEADERSHIP, AND BUILD A 125k - 250K+ CAREER WITH EXPERT COACHING BEHIND YOU
Every company says it wants to be "data-driven." Very few actually are.
The data analytics market is projected to grow by roughly $375 billion between 2025 and 2030, at about 16% a year, with the services segment expected to see significant growth.
AI is accelerating that and raising the stakes, but AI is only as good as the data underneath it, and most companies are still running on scattered spreadsheets and reports nobody trusts.
That's where Swift Insights comes in. We turn fragmented business data into trusted reporting and decision-making systems: data engineering, data warehouses, Tableau and Power BI, analytics strategy, and our own first-of-their-kind offerings, Flightpath and Data Nest, which give clients ongoing analytics and insights instead of a one-time project.
Our delivery team does sophisticated technical work that less specialized firms can't easily reproduce. What we haven't had yet is a dedicated salesperson.
That's you.
What You Get Working With Us

About Us
Our founder spent years at Deloitte watching a bloated consulting model demand that employees hand over their entire lives, and still deliver mediocre results to clients. So he left to freelance, planning to simply do great work and have a good life. The work kept coming, he brought in a few people to help, and almost by accident, that became Swift Insights.
Swift was built to be the opposite of that old model: lean, genuinely great for clients, and a place where people have real lives outside of work. We protect that fiercely. If a client treats our team poorly, we let the client go, because good people are harder to find than clients. Every year, we talk with each team member about their personal and professional goals, and we invest in them, whether that's spending a few months living in Italy or learning a new skill unrelated to their role. Our founder himself moved his young family from the US to France for a better quality of life.
We want people who are driven, hardworking, and care deeply about excellent work. We just don't believe your life should be your job.
About You
We're looking for someone consultative, curious, and honest: someone who would rather walk away from a bad-fit deal than oversell, wants to make a lot of money, likes building things, and wants to keep sharpening their sales game.
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling consultative services, data/analytics, or technology
- Experience closing deals $25,000 - $100,000 range
- Experience generating your own pipeline
- An entrepreneurial mindset: you see a growing company as an opportunity, not a risk
- An interest in eventually leading and developing other salespeople
- A history of meeting or exceeding quota, with numbers you can share
- Enough technical fluency to hold credible conversations about business intelligence (BI)
- Strong discovery skills: you ask great questions and uncover the real problem behind the request
- The ability to simplify complex technical ideas without overwhelming people
- Smart, persistent follow-up (not "just checking in")
- Experience with proposal-based sales (you'll have support with templates, messaging, pricing, etc.)
- Coachability: you welcome feedback on your calls and put it to work quickly
- CRM discipline: clean notes, accurate pipeline, and honest forecasting
- A collaborative style with both clients and the delivery team
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Experience selling Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platform services
- Experience selling recurring or managed services
- A network among operations, finance, or data leaders at mid-market companies
- Experience as an early or first sales hire at a growing company
Responsibilities Include
- Owning the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal meetings, negotiation, and close
- Reactivating relationships with past clients and turning them into new engagements
- Building and managing a qualified pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, and our network
- Running consultative discovery meetings that uncover real business problems
- Partnering with our technical leads to scope solutions that clients love and we can deliver
- Demonstrating Flightpath and Data Nest, and positioning ongoing analytics alongside project work
- Leading proposal meetings and walking clients through scope, pricing, and outcomes
- Handing off signed clients to delivery with clear expectations and success criteria
- Keeping accurate records in our CRM and forecasting honestly
- Hitting agreed-upon monthly KPIs
- Proactively suggesting ideas to improve the sales process, messaging, and materials
Requirements
- Reliable laptop and high-speed internet
- A professional setting for video calls
- Availability during US business hours
- A solution-focused, not excuse-focused, mindset
- The ability to learn quickly, especially about technical offerings
